Data is collected in order for users to log in and identify themselves within the service.

2. The data content in the registry

Educators:
Email address (mandatory)
First name (mandatory)
Last name (mandatory)
School/organization (mandatory)
School/organization website url (mandatory)
Job title (mandatory)
Country (mandatory)
State (mandatory when applicable)
Contact information sharing with other educators (optional)

Students:
User name generated by the teacher (mandatory, pseudo-anonymous data)

Schools/organizations:
Address (mandatory)

3. Regular sources of information

All information in the register is provided by the registered persons themselves upon registration and use of the service. Registration is only for educators. We do not collect any personal information from students.

4. Regular hand-over of information and transfer of information outside the EU or the European Economic Area

Personal information is handed over only to other educators and educational organizations for referral purposes, and only when the customer has given permission to do so during the sign up process.

Due to the technical processing of personal data, some of it may be transferred outside the European Union or the European Economic Area but only when necessary for the technical implementation of the service and only to TeacherGaming's private encrypted servers, and it is done only within the limits permitted and required by valid legislation.

5. Protection principles for the register

User data is stored on the learning environment's private server.

The register is protected against third-party access. A username and password are required for logging in to the system. Only employees involved in processing the personal information have access to the register. The employees are under an obligation of secrecy as regards the information in the register.

There is no manually processed material in the register.

All data is encrypted with two-way encryption. Some information, such as any passwords, are also hashed, which means that they can not be read by anyone.
